Ruth McCauley

As family gathered near, a caring soul went home to God on March 9, 2023 when Ruth McCauley passed away.  Ruth was blessed as a caregiver to so many.  Young and old alike gravitated to her as a gentle, loving soul. She was a selfless person with a genuine heart and caring for others came naturally. Ruth enjoyed spending time with and was very active with the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club Women's Auxiliary. 

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth (neeWilhelm) Weidlich and sister, Patricia Wozniak.  She is survived by loving husband and soul mate, Paul, daughter, Barbara (Paul) Collier, son, granddaughters, Claire and Lindsay and brother, Charles (Maureen) Weidlich.  The family would like to thank Dr. Brian J Donelan, MD for his compassion and kindness while attending to Ruth.

Family and friends are invited to memorial calling hours on Thursday, March 16 from 5-7 pm at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rt. 619) Portage Lakes.  In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
