Rose Marie Williamson, 87, passed away October 24, 2023 at The Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton. She was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to Albert and Dorothy (nee General) Stasiak. She loved animals, especially dogs, (Crystal, her dog) and gave annual donations to the local humane society. She was a home maker most of her life but did work at various banks and Bath and Body works.
She sold Avon as a hobby, loved to read books and her magazines. She enjoyed going to the casino and shopping, especially Bath and Body Works and Tupperware. She loved tending to her flower gardens with various yard art and multiple wind chimes.
She enjoyed camping most weekends in the summer with her family when the boys were younger in their Holiday Rambler. Rose spent the last few years of her life living in The Chapel Hill Community and made friends with many of her fellow residents and staff.
Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl. She is survived by sons, Charles Williamson and Edward (Eddie) Williamson, grandson, Kyle (Kayla) Williamson, granddaughter, Kirsten (Derek) Morehead, great grandsons, Kaden Williamson and Kyson Morehead, niece, Heather and nephews, Scott and Keith Crotta, sister, Dorothy (Dot) Crotta and brother-in-law, Paul Crotta, dear friends, Priscilla Alborn Smith Carter, Becky Hess and Pam Alborn to name a few of many.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held in the chapel at The Chapel Hill Community, 12200 Strausser St. NW, Canal Fulton, OH at 4:30pm Friday October 27, 2023.
There will be a celebration of life and burial of cremains at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio in the Spring.
