Rachel Ann deGuia-Davis, 28, of Canal Fulton, Ohio was set free from her battle with cancer on Friday, July 22, 2022. She passed away at home surrounded by her family and friends. Rachel was one of the most honest, fun loving, compassionate, and determined 28 year-olds you’d ever meet. Anyone who crossed her path was blessed with her joy for life and admirable strength.

Rachel was passionate about her profession as an Occupational Therapist at Health-Pro Heritage, at Concordia at Sumner, where she received the Associate of the Month Award in April 2021. She was a strong Occupational Therapist with great leadership in her facility. She was a patient advocate and suggested “out-of-the-box” ideas to assist her patients in maintaining their independence.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Mary Jane Chapman and James Chapman, and paternal grandfather Pedro C. deGuia.
She is survived by her loving and extraordinary wife of four years, Alyssa deGuia-Davis (formerly of Erie, PA). To simply put it, Rachel is and always will be the best. She was the best wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived her life with intention and a sense of purpose that is unmatched. She always went above and beyond in her life with her family and in her work. We will cherish the memories that we created with her during her beautiful life.
