Patsy Louise Bryner of Brimfield passed away on October 29, 2021, after an extended illness. She was born in 1937 in Suit, North Carolina to Hayden and Notie (nee Allen) Hickey, and moved to Ohio at an early age. She married Harry Dale Bryner in May, 1958, and lived and worked in Summit and Portage Counties all of her life. Patsy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield, a retiree of First Merit Bank, and an enthusiastic volunteer for numerous local organizations. She was active in Girl Scouts, 4H, and the Brimfield Historical Society. Patsy loved working in her flower gardens, and loved baking goodies for friends and neighbors.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers Rudy and Ray Hickey. She is survived by her husband, Dale, son, Bob Bryner of Aztec, NM., daughter, Lynn (Michael) DeLuca of Tallmadge, Ohio, brother, Darryl Hickey of Colorado Springs, CO., sister, Debbie (Fred) Greenfeld of Nederland, CO., and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield, 1235 Tallmadge Rd., Kent, OH 44240. Friends and family are welcome to gather for lunch and fellowship in the church basement immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield and the Brimfield Historical Society.
