Nick S Lipari
Obituary
Nick Lipari passed away peacefully at home on April 10th, 2022. He was born on May 1, 1942 in Akron, Ohio to the late Dominic and Anna (Golubic) Lipari. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1960. He completed a draftsman apprenticeship at Babcock & Wilcox and worked for a number of engineering firms until his retirement in 2013.
He was an avid golfer, musician, and joke teller. He loved living in Portage Lakes and spent many summers with his wife, Sandy, on their boat or at local restaurants and bars.
Nick was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy and sister, JoAnn. He is survived by daughter Jackie (Dan) McMurray, son Nick (Gretchen) Lipari, granddaughter Cassie Lipari, sister Kay Rizzo, and long time friend Merrillie Kessler.
A Visitation/Celebration of Life will be held at Prime Vine Winery, 4332 Manchester Road, New Franklin, Ohio. on Friday, May 27th from 12-3. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1485 Marion Ave., Akron, OH 44313.
