Michelle Callahan

Marilyn Michelle Callahan (nee Michelle Metcalf) passed away unexpectedly September 24th 2023.  She was 66 years young.    She has been called home, she is no longer in pain.  Marilyn was born in Akron Ohio to the late Ruth Crummel and Robert Metcalf.  She was preceded in death by both .  She is survived by brother Michael Metcalf, son, Tyler Gilligan, nephew, Joseph ( Kristen ) Metcalf, great nephew Braxton Metcalf and the love of her life,  Kim Pizzino.                                                        

Michelle had previously resided in Akron, Doylestown, Wooster, and most recently New Franklin, Ohio.

Michelle was employed for over 27 years as a Ophthalmic Technician and most recently at Summit Ophthalmalogy .

She loved all creatures great and small, from birds that visited our feeders to creatures of the wilderness. She was especially fond of dogs and cats.   Michelle loved all typed of music , especially Country Music and 60’s and 70’s.

Per her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Cremation has already taken place.   Donations may be made to your favorite pet charity or animal rescue in her memory.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
