Their children, Derika, Dusty (Karen), Damin (Andrea), Darla Deitrick, Gabe Simon and Jessica (AJ). And then their children, PJ Sullivan, Lauren, Kylie, Delaney, Kandice, Amber Deitrick, Noah & Elijah Simon and Ava Hanlin. And her special friends, especially Diana Mencer. Her successful government career began with the Navy, Pentagon, White House and ended with the Department of Energy.
She later married General Donn A Starry and they moved to Canton, OH. Karen was an extravagant host, known for extraordinary generosity and festive surroundings.
