Obituary
Charles Leo Shields Sr, 54 years old of Akron, passed away suddenly on Sept. 9, 2023. He was born in Barberton, Ohio December 16, 1968. Charles was an intelligent, hardworking, and kind man. A great father and best friend only a few were lucky enough to have. Charles had the biggest heart and loved helping people. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle or car around with his 2 dogs Sis and Pig. Charles was preceded in death by his father, James Shields, brothers, Timothy and Tony Shields, grandparents, George and Beulah Shields. Charles will be greatly missed by daughters Nichole (Thomas) Colbert and Kali Shields, sons, Charles Shields Jr. and Brandon Shields, 6 grandchildren, Kaden, William, Emma, Rylan, Toby and Milo and many friends. A celebration of life will be held September 23rd, please contact family for information.
