Albert Fortine Jr.

Albert Fortine Jr., 85, passed away November 1, 2022.  He was born in Masury, Ohio to Albert and Ann (nee Reda) Fortine.  He was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and served as an usher for several years.  He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus.  He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. as a facility planning engineer with forty-two years of service and worked with domestic and international tire production.  He was an US Army veteran serving as an intel officer and served seven and a half years in the Army reserves.

Mr. Fortine is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Ann Marie, sons, Michael (Beth) Fortine and Christopher (Beth) Fortine, grandchildren, Alan, Colleen and Emily and sister, Carmel Esposito.

Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November, 7 at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 6 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W Turkeyfoot Lk Rd., (Rt. 619) Portage Lakes.
