Susan Andrasko Obituary

Susan Lynn Andrasko, 61, of Coventry Township, Ohio, passed away Sept. 20, 2018
at Akron City Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.

Susan was born November 17, 1956 in Akron, Ohio to parents William and Anna ( nee Smook ) Andrasko.
She grew up on Manchester Road in the Portage Lakes, Coventry Twp., went to Coventry schools
graduating in 1975, and got her MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Texas.

Susan was married some 20 years to Noah Sheridan, and lived in Texas those years.
She returned to the Portage Lakes to care for her aging parents, and spent the rest of
her life here. She settled in, and met Curtis W. Flick in early 2010.
Susan and Curt moved in together that year, and have been together ever since.
The relationship had its moments, but Curt was there at her hospital bed holding
her hand when she passed from this earth. He is happy that Susan died sober.
Susan had said that her happiest times were living alone in her own place,
and being very active with her AA involvements, prior to meeting Curt.
She had worked at a law firm in Texas.
She had worked at Home Depot on Arlington Rd. then as receptionist at a nursing home,
as a care giver for Curt's friend Bob, and finally at Marc's.
She also volunteered as a voice for the Akron Radio Reading service at Goodwill.
Susan was an avid doodler, and not a bad artist when she put her mind to it.
Curt has some of her work which will be treasured.
Susan was known for her quirky-cute manner of dress, and her hats.
One of her friends often called her Susan-Many-Hats.
One of her best friends said "Susan was her own person." and that is certainly true.
She was always there for someone in need, providing rides to almost anyone who asked,
among other things. She did like to drive.
Susan could be an avid gardner, and decorator at times.
A joy and comfort to loved ones; with a legacy of endurance and perseverance.
She certainly was a survivor, who will be dearly missed!
In her later years, she got herself hooked on old TV shows, and old western movies.

Susan is preceeded in death by her parents, and her brothers John and Freddie.
( also her cat Molly May, and she never quite got over the passing of her Pekingese, Coco Puff )
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Anna and Craig Shook,
whom she always held in high affection.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home,
